I think God is just a class act. There’s a dignity to Him. He also really knows Satan, and won’t ever lower Himself to his level.

Satan, well, he’s just full of himself. Why does he do the things he does? Only for wicked and self-serving reasons.

So…yeah, I think it’s way beyond us. I know how I would want react to Satan, and Jesus does it so much better.

This is another great post, Cait. I also must say that I find it interesting how God engaged with Job in Job 1 and 2 and how God through Jesus engaged with Satan as you point out here (from Matthew). Is God that polite? Is there some kind of interesting relationship here that is worth exploring? Is this whole issue just ‘beyond us’ to consider as mere mortals? Does Satan somehow feel compelled to present himself before the maker of the world (including himself)? Lots of questions …. answers anyone (or Cait)?
