Books

Coming in 2012! The following books are not yet published, but I have provided a draft excerpt, so you have an idea about the final product.  I will keep you posted as to when they are available.  (Your prayers are highly appreciated, as this is a new adventure for me!)

My deepest desire is to encourage people to get closer to God, and to build solid relationships with each other, as they grow in faith.  In Irish, there is a term called, “anam cara,” which means, “soul friend”, and that is someone with whom you share a spiritual journey. I pray that through study, prayer, and sharing, you can walk that journey always knowing that God and your anam cairde have your back!

Book type Description
Act

A buddy-study for maturer Christians to walk alongside newer believers. Discover and re-discover the Grace of God.

Sample chapter (PDF).

A Grace-full Challenge

A five-week study about God’s Grace, how to accept it, and show it to others.

Are you up for a challenge?

If you or someone you know has just started to learn about Jesus,
then this might be the guide for you!

Like any training, this five-week study will take some effort, but it’s good exercise for your faith.  Once a week, you’ll read the author’s commentary, and then for five subsequent days, you’ll do tasks related to what you’ve read:

  • Learn – read scripture passages
  • Reflect – think about what the lesson means
  • Share – talk to someone about it
  • Act – do something for others
  • Pray – have a good chat with God

You’ll not only discover more about God’s amazing grace, but how your life will change because of it!

“I would really recommend that this study is done  with the ‘buddy system’ in mind—have a more experienced believer walk alongside someone  who is new to the faith.  They could each grow together as they share this journey.” ~Cait G.

Bible

A Bible study for small groups who are ready to go further in following Christ.

Sample chapter (PDF).

Fruit Servings

A ten-week study about the Fruit of the Spirit, and how by God’s grace, we can all be fruitful.

Are you getting your recommended dose of Fruit?

Or better yet, are you producing the right amount in all circumstances?  Find out how the Spirit teaches us how to be:

  • loving
  • joyful
  • peaceful and peace-making
  • patient
  • kind
  • good
  • faithful
  • gentle
  • disciplined

Each week, you’ll explore each part of the fruit of the Spirit, as written in Galatians 5:22-23.

“I actually participated in one of the pilots of this study.  I was blown away by how the women added so much more by sharing their stories.  It made my objective as an author come true: to open a door to discussion.  And I learned so much from my ladies.  My prayer is that you feel free to have open and honest discussions about how you are impacted or encouraged by this passage in Galations.” ~Cait G.
