About GGY

In 2007, I began writing blogs on a social networking site, and received such encouragement from readers that in 2010 I created gotgraceyet.com. I am passionate about scripture and how God speaks through it, and want to keep writing until my keyboard catches fire! (Don’t worry, I have an extinguisher beside my laptop.)

This blog site includes devotionals about my personal experience with getting to know Christ. I am literally blown away by His grace—how He forgives, heals, and restores us, even though we never did anything to deserve it. As as result, I want to shout out like an enthusiastic kid, “HEY! GOT HIS GRACE, YET?! All you have to do is believe!”

John 3:16 is not just something on a sign at a football game (go Pats), but it tells us the ultimate message of God’s grace:

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

(John 3:16)

That means that because Jesus died to pay the price for all of our sins, and overcame death and sin on the cross through His resurrection, everyone who believes in Him will live forever!

Sound unbelievable? Well, it seems incredible for sure, but it’s true. We are free, because Christ set us free. Accept the amazing grace that the Lord had on us, and live fully in this life by faith and hope, and in the life to come!

Each week, usually on Friday, I’ll post new blogs. My desire is to teach and preach without being too teachy and preachy (lol). More importantly, I want to share how amazing God is. If you only knew the person I was…oh boy…yet by His grace, I’m free to live my life with Him, with all my guilt taken away. It’s great not to be that weighed down, let me tell you. So now, out of gratitude, I want to let you know what I’ve discovered, and what He’s shown me.

And yeah, beware. I’m quirky. It’s an Irish thing.

Le grá (with love),
Cait G.
